4. Basis and purpose for processing personal data
Information on Saimaa Phenomenon employees, customers, and partners is used for business purposes, correspondence, and for maintaining contacts and customer relationships.
5. Information content of register
Customer data on ordered services, and information required for their implementation and invoicing, including name, e-mail address, telephone number and postal address.
6. Regular information sources
Customer and partner data based on information supplied by them, and other databaseses, e.g. The Finnish Business Information System (BIS).
7. Sharing and handing over collected data to non-EU countries and international organisations
Information will not be handed over to third parties outside the EU or ETA or to international organisations.
8. Principles for register data protection
a) Manual data
All manual data is stored in a locked space and data is accessible only to designated persons, who require the data in their work or for business administration.
b) Digital data
We store your data on a server which requires a password login. Access to information gathered through the website system requires a password login. Use of the registry is allowed only by authorised persons, who require the data in their work or for business administration. Our partners and service providers of digital services (work monitoring system, tax information system, etc.) are bound to comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Regulations.
9. Duration of storing personal data
We store personal data collected by us only for as long as the subscribed newsletter is published or until the person cancels their subscription.
10. Rights of data subject
The data subject can cancel their newsletter subscription whenever they want using the link provided on the website.
The data subject has the right to:
- check personal data registered by us
- rectify erroneous personal data
- have data erased from the register
- restrict data processing
- transfer data from one system to another.
The request must be sent via e-mail to jonna.ekroos@savonlinna.fi, or via post to Saimaa Phenomenon, Puistokatu 1, 57100 Savonlinna, with reference "Request to check data in Newsletter register".
The Data Subject is also entitled to appeal to the Data protection supervisor if they feel that we are breaking the effective data protection legislation.
